Our brief was to design a rear extension to a large Victorian semi-detached dwelling.
The existing kitchen was too small by contemporary standards. It was 'L' shaped in plan after having been previously extended.
Our proposal 'squared-off' the back to form a more useable kitchen, loosely arranged into two key areas: the kitchen and a dining / breakfast bar area, incorporating fixed seating overlooking the garden.
We proposed a large bi-fold door to provide access to the patio and rooflights over to allow maximum daylight into the interior.
